When the Netflix series Sirens premiered, it quickly captured hearts with its breathtaking storytelling, powerful performances, and visually stunning world. From the writers and directors to the brilliant cast who brought these unforgettable characters to life, every detail of the production shone with artistry and care.
I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to have one of my designs, the Celestial Crown, featured in Season 1, Episode 3 ("Monster"). Seeing my gold crown in Sirens Episode 3 - a handcrafted gold leaf tiara designed in my Sarasota studio - shimmer under the lights of such an extraordinary production was a dream come true.
This moment has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career, and I will always hold deep appreciation for the costume designer who chose my piece and made it part of this extraordinary show.
The recognition of Sirens has only grown, and I am overjoyed to see the series nominated for an Emmy Award. The nomination is so well deserved, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved. While I cannot claim to be part of the production itself, I am profoundly thankful that my work was included in its vision. To know that the crown was seen by such a wide audience, thanks to the dedication and brilliance of the Sirens team, is a gift I will treasure forever.
The Celestial Crown is one of Lavlii’s most celebrated designs, known for its shimmering gold leaves and radiant sparkle. The version seen in episode 3 was created in 24-karat gold plating, chosen for its luminous warmth and timeless elegance. Since then, this crown has become a symbol of celebration for so many of my clients.
